Fred Thompson - Gallery Director

With a lifelong passion for visual storytelling, Fred Thompson’s journey as an artist has been shaped by his background in graphic design and visual communication. As the creative director of his own design studio since 1995, Fred developed a deep understanding of how composition, colour, and form evoke emotion, an expertise that now defines both his own artistic practice and his curatorial approach at Framed Gallery.

Fred founded Framed Gallery with a vision to create a space that celebrates artistic excellence across multiple disciplines.

As both an artist and curator, he selects each piece with an expert eye for craftsmanship, originality, and impact. From contemporary paintings to sculptural lighting, ceramics, and fine jewellery, every work reflects the gallery’s commitment to quality and artistry.

At the heart of Framed Gallery is a philosophy of connection between artist and collector, between artwork and space.
